  • Q: WILL MY ACCOUNT NUMBER CHANGE?

    A: Account numbers for checking accounts, savings accounts, and CDs will remain the same. 

  • Q: WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY NEW DEBIT/ATM CARDS?

    A: Your new New Mexico Bank & Trust debit card will arrive the week of November 23, 2020. Please note that your debit card has a new number. For security purposes, your new card will arrive in a plain white envelope.

    A: Your new New Mexico Bank & Trust debit card will arrive the week of February 8, 2021. Please note that your debit card has a new number. For security purposes, your new card will arrive in a plain white envelope.

  • Q: HOW DO I ACTIVATE MY NEW DEBIT/ATM CARDS?

    A: Your new debit card can be activated by calling the telephone number included with your card, 800.992.3808. Please note that you must call from the phone number associated with your account. 

  • Q: WHAT ARE THE LIMITS ON MY NEW DEBIT CARD?

    A: The daily limits of your new debit card will be $2,500 for point of sale (POS) and $500 for ATM cash withdrawals. If you have a limit that is different from this, we will notify you. Please work with your personal banker after Monday,February 22, 2021, to discuss any necessary changes to your card limits.  

  • Q: CAN I USE MY DEBIT CARD WITH MY CELL PHONE’S DIGITAL WALLET?

    A: Yes, our debit cards are compatible with Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay. Check out this video to learn how to load your card.

  • Q: WILL I BE ABLE TO WRITE CHECKS FROM MY NEW ACCOUNT?

    A: You will receive a packet of complimentary checks with the New Mexico Bank & Trust routing number. Please begin to use those on Monday, February 22, 2021.

  • Q: WHAT IS THE NEW ROUTING NUMBER?

    A: Beginning Monday, February 22, 2021, your new routing and transit number will be 107006541.

  • Q: HOW CAN I ACCESS MY ACCOUNT ONLINE?

    A: You will be able to log in to New Mexico Bank & Trust’s Online Banking any time after 8:00 a.m. on Monday, February 22, 2021.

    1. On the homepage, use the log in box in the upper right-hand corner.
    2. Enter your current Bank User ID, which is case-sensitive.
    3. Enter your new temporary password: Last four (4) digits of your Social Security Number.
    4. You will be prompted to select how your secure access code will be delivered (SMS text or voice call).
    5. Now you can change your password.
    6. Read and accept the Terms and Conditions for Online Banking.
    7. You’re in! At this time, you may set up any automatic account alerts you may have had in the former online banking system, as those will not be converted.
  • Q: HOW CAN I ACCESS MY ACCOUNT ON MY PHONE?

    The New Mexico Bank & Trust mobile app is a convenient way to do your banking without having to visit a bank. Whether you need to make a deposit, pay bills, transfer funds, or pay a person, the New Mexico Bank & Trust app has you covered.

  • Q: WILL MY AUTOMATIC BILL PAYMENTS CONVERT OVER IN ONLINE BANKING?

    A: Your direct deposits and automatic payments will continue uninterrupted. Please know that every attempt is being made to properly convert all your current payees, addresses, and recurring payments based on the information from the current provider. We recommend reviewing all your payments, payees, and recurring payments to ensure all were converted properly. After Friday, December 4, 2020, you may be contacted by vendors with whom you have an existing automatic payment setup or direct deposit to confirm the routing number change. The new routing number is 107006541.
